Planet Polymer Technologies, Inc. is a development stage specialty chemical company that designs, develops, manufactures and markets degradable and recycled content polymer materials. The Company’s proprietary polymer materials, which are marketed under the trademark Enviroplastic, can be used to produce film and injection molded parts that serve as environmentally-compatible alternatives to conventional plastics. The Company has developed six proprietary technologies, five of which can be used to manufacture products that are biodegradable, hydrodegradable, or photodegradable, and one of which can be used to manufacture products that contain recycled fiber content. The degradable products can be engineered to degrade over a period of a few seconds to hundreds of days depending on application requirements. During degradation, the products convert into a combination of environmentally-safe water, carbon dioxide and biomass. All of the Company’s materials can be custom engineered to replicate the product and manufacturing characteristics of non-degradable plastic products.
